Arnold Archuleta, 89 of Monterey Park, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 16, 2010. He was born Arnolfo Archuleta on July 5, 1921 in Las Cruces, New Mexico to the late Josephina (Jaloma) Archuleta and Emilio Archuleta.
Arnold enlisted into the United States Army at age 21 in Monterey, California during the Second World War. He proudly served four years in the United States Army. Upon his separation in September 1946, Arnold received the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Metal, World War II Victory Medal, and American Campaign Medal.
On September 27, 1947, Arnold entered into matrimony to his lovely wife, Lilia. They shared 63 wonderful years together. Arnold was articulate, hardworking and possessed many skills. His employer recognized his potential and offered to help Arnold to continue his education. He attended the Frank Wiggins Trade School, obtaining his vocational certification. Arnold went on to become a successful Tool and Die Maker with Max Factor Cosmetics for over 20 years.
Arnold Archuleta is survived by his dear wife, Lilia, along with many family members and friends.
