Margaret Jean Sanders entered into eternal rest on July 22, 2010 in South El Monte, California. She was 69 years of age and lived in the city of North Whittier. She was born in Tucson, Arizona on February 9, 1941 to parents Clementina and Ernesto Arvizu.
Margaret lived in the Los Angeles County for more than 60 years. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School, Sacred Heart High School, and Garfield High School. She graduated from Garfield High School, Class of '58. Margaret then worked for the Los Angeles Health Department where she met her husband in 1960. They were married two years later. Margaret was a good and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family very much. She enjoyed reading and knitting. After retiring as a Personnel Analyst from the Los Angeles County Rehab Center where she worked for over 27 years, she did lots of traveling. Margaret and her husband took monthly vacations to their house in Baja, they took trips to Tucson, Arizona to visiting Margaret's relatives, and trips to Las Vegas and Tahoe. Margaret was a very loving person. She touched the hearts of all who knew her and will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Clementina Arvizu; father, Ernesto Arvizu; and sister, Evelyn Apodaca.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Stanley Karl Sanders; son, Scott Karl Sanders; daughter, Stephanie Jean Sanders; grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, and Justine; along with other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
